Bloomfield, CT - Jacobs Vehicle Systems, the world's leading manufacturer of heavy-duty diesel engine retarding systems and valve actuation mechanisms, announces it has signed its first Development Agreement with one of India's largest commericial vehicle manufacturers.

As Jacobs continues to focus on expanding its global footprint, the signing of this development agreement represents Jacobs' strategic initiative to expand its technology into emerging markets.

This activity supports the pending regulations for auxiliary retarding requirements on commercial vehicles.
