supplier of the Engine Brake for the Mercedes-Benz 13-liter OM471 diesel engine which has been released on the new Actros.
The new Model OM471 Engine Brake by Jacobs® will be standard equipment and works on the Compression Release principle, acting on a single exhaust valve using Jacobs’ exclusive Dedicated Cam-operated, Integrated Dual Rocker Arm System.
The Actros is the first Mercedes-Benz branded truck to come standard with a genuine Jacobs Vehicle Systems engine brake. See the new Euro-6 Actros roll of the production line here
