BLOOMFIELD, CT, USA – Jacobs Vehicle Systems® announces a collaboration with the Center for Alternative Fuels, Engine, and Emissions (CAFEE) at West Virginia University to further define the benefits of Jacobs’ Cylinder Deactivation (CDA) and Early Exhaust Valve Opening (EEVO) systems on heavy-duty diesel engines for commercial vehicles.
Jacobs Vehicle Systems®, the world’s leading manufacturer of diesel and natural gas engine retarding systems and valve actuation mechanisms, announces the launch of a compression release engine brake for the all-new 2020 Hino XL Series Truck.
Each year, the team in Suzhou, China, hosts a dinner for all employees. The evening is filled with food and entertainment put on by the employees. Acts range from singing, dancing, magic shows, and more.
During the holidays, the employees at Jacobs help raise money for the Bloomfield Department of Social & Youth Services. This money is donated so that the community organization can purchase gifts for children in our community who may not normally receive gifts during the holiday season. This year, Jacobs employees gave generously and raised $1,324.80. Jacobs Vehicle Systems matched the employee contributions, making the donation to the Social & Youth Services a grand total of $2,649.60.
