Jacobs Suzhou Team Holds Day of Caring

Jacobs Suzhou team has carried on the Day of Caring tradition for years, and this year they participated in an activity called "Big Hands and Small Hands". In November, a team visited the Suzhou Industrial Park Ren’ai School which is a special school that takes in children and teenagers with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities. Prior to visiting the school, over 30 Jacobs employees volunteered to assemble six beautiful bookshelves.

Jacobs High Power Density Engine Brake Specified by Chinese Truck Maker

BLOOMFIELD, CT, USA – Jacobs Vehicle Systems’ High Power Density® (HPD ®) engine brake has gone into production with a Chinese truck manufacturer. This is the first OEM application of HPD, launched in 2016, to be announced. The new Sinotruk Yellow River tractor unit, designed and manufactured by China National Heavy Duty Truck Company (CNHTC), integrates Jacobs’ HPD technology in its 11- and 13-liter engines.
